STATEMENT OF DOCTRINE BELIEFS
& PURPOSE
Be it known
that we are of the Apostles' Faith, believe, practice and teach those doctrines
and traditions delivered to us by the Lord Jesus Christ, the holy Apostles and
the Prophets. Therefore, all our preaching, teaching and manner of life is based
solely on the inspired scriptures as recorded in the Bible. Accordingly, some of
the principles of the Apostolic doctrine include the following:
* One God,
the Lord Jesus Christ. Revelations 1:8
* Godly
repentance and water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of
one's sins. Acts 2:38
* Receiving
the gift of the Holy Ghost as evidenced by speaking in tongues as the Spirit of
God gives the utterance. Acts 2:4
* Living a holy life.
Hebrews 12:14
Be it also known that our
sole purpose is the preaching and teaching
of the holy scriptures to all
people with the intent that they may be saved from the wrath of God.
