The focus of YIA is to spiritually educate and inform our children that sin can damage their lives.  Our goal is to teach them that they can have life and have it more abundantly. Life is full of many decisions which could lead to eternal life or eternal death.  It is important to teach them early that sin can damage their life and could in some cases lead to an early death.  Referencing and remembering him while they are still yet in their youth is important because we want them to glory, honor and praise while they are physically able and mentally capable. 

Train up a child in the way he should go:

and when he is old, he will not depart
